Lifeline Systems

Fall arrest systems that are designed to keep workers safe by keeping them tied off to a wire, rope or rail.

Lifeline systems are a reasonable solutions to protect workers when a passive system is unsuitable. Lifeline systems connect their worker to a wire, rope or rail through some sort of shock absorbing lanyard or self-retracting device. Life line systems can be used to restrain workers from reaching a fall hazard, this type of system is referred to as Fall Restraint. It is extremely important that a lifeline, whether temporary or permanent, be installed and tested by a qualified person.
