Installing a self-closing gate at the top of a fixed vertical ladder ensures that workers can gain access and work on the roof safely. A gate and guardrail system will prevent users from falling off the roof edge while performing maintenance tasks or repairs. The gate automatically closes behind the user via a hinge system, therefore minimising the risk of falls through the opening at the top of the ladder.
Our gates are made of incredibly sturdy galvanised steel and are built to last. Corrosion resistant, they are suitable to use in even the harshest environments. We thoroughly test our gates to ensure durability and reliability.
Suited for most layouts
These CAT ladder gates come in a variety of sizes, heights and finishes, making sure that there is a suitable safe access solution for virtually any roof layout.
Made of high quality components
For these gates, each component plays an important role in the durability of the system. The self-closing spring is protected in a galvanized cylinder and has adjustable tension. Its stopper is fully rubberized to prevent damage to the contact point. The attachment bracket is made to work universally on most pipe and angle iron.
Add a guardrail system for enhanced fall protection
Pair our gates with a guardrail system to ensure full fall protection for staff working on a roof.
