Kee Walk walkway system
As well as protecting workers at height from falls, slips and trips can also be avoided by installing a level non-slip walking surface. In addition designated walkways can be used to ensure staff can be directed away from hazards and reduce costly damage to the roof surface caused by foot traffic.
Kee Walk as standard complies with EN516:2006 1 C as standard, which requires a walkway to be 3 degrees of the horizontal. Its design, using an aluminium sub-frame and glass reinforced nylon treads ensures the walking surface is firm underfoot.
Specification is simple requiring the roof slope and type, being manufactured in a number of standard configurations that can be easily adjusted to suit on site aiding installation and so reducing labour costs.
Kee Walk is designed with non-penetrative fixings for membrane and standing seam roofs and standard tek screw connection on metal profile roofs.
A combination of steps, longitudinal and traverse sections allows access to be configured for many roof types, including barrel roofs, between 0-35 degrees as standard.
To provide the complete solution, Kee Walk can be used in conjunction with other safety systems. Roof barrier systems including KeeGuard on membrane roofs, KeeGuard Topfix for metal profile & standing seam roofs or where preferred wire systems such as KeeLine.
