This makes them compatible with other safety systems such as roof edge protection guardrails and ground mounted railing units.

  • Self-closing spring: The gate spring is protected in a galvanized cylinder and has adjustable tension.
  • Gate stopper: The gate stopper is fully rubberized to prevent damage to the contact point.
  • Adjustment mechanism: Installation requires only a few simple tools. No cutting or welding are required.
  • Attachment bracket: The attachment bracket is made to work universally on most pipe and angle iron.

What is Kee Gate made of?

Galvanised steel, which gives the gate good anti-corrosion properties.

Are your gates left or right-turning? / Which direction do your gates open?

You can install Kee Gate to either open on the right or on the left. Just make sure that the gate will close in the direction of hazard.

Does the gate swing both ways?

No. Kee Gates are fitted with a slam plate cover which will ensure that the gate remains closed should you fall. Just make sure that the gate will close in the direction of hazard.

Does the gate come with a fixing pack?

Yes. Our gates can be fixed to a wide range of surfaces.

Do you have the gate in stock right now?

Yes. If you live in mainland UK, you get next day delivery with all our gates.

How long does it take to deliver the gates to me?

What size is a single gate?

Up to 1m. Gates can easily be cut to size for access points smaller than 1m.

What size is a double gate?

Up to 1.8m. Gates can easily be cut to size for access points smaller than 1.8m.

Do you offer a gate cutting service?

To keep costs down and ensure speedy delivery, we do not offer a gate cutting service, but we do show you how to do this yourself here.

Is Kee Gate suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. Our self-closing safety gates are made of galvanised steel. This gives them fantastic anti-corrosion properties.

What colour does the gate come in?

Gates can come in:

  • Galvanised finish: In stock
  • Yellow (powder coated): In stock
  • Any other RAL colour (powder coated): Made to order.

Can I trim the gate down in width?

Yes. You can disconnect the tube from the hinges and trim it to the desired length using a hacksaw. For galvanised assemblies, spray with Galvafoid or a similar substance (to prevent corrosion). Carefully re-position the gate top and bottom tubes into the cast fittings.

Do I need to tweak a structure so that it can hold Kee Gate?

No. You can fit our gates to any existing structure. Sometimes, extra uprights are required, but you can purchase those from us as well.
