Engineered for Safety, Built for Industrial Performance

Whether you need a self closing gate for a rooftop hatch, ladder, or mezzanine floor, Kee Gate offers the strength, reliability, and compliance required in today's industrial environments. Made from galvanised steel and thoroughly tested, these industrial gates are trusted by safety professionals across the UK.

Designed to Keep You Safe in Any Environment

Kee Gate has been purpose-built to address common access hazards in industrial workplaces. From platforms and walkways to maintenance zones and open voids, it provides a continuous barrier that doesn’t rely on users remembering to shut the gate behind them. The integrated spring-loaded hinge ensures the gate closes automatically every time, reducing human error and maintaining compliance with UK and EU standards.

It's particularly useful in locations where fall protection is critical, such as at the top of roof access ladders, around roof hatches, or along unprotected edges. Because Kee Gate is modular and easy to retrofit, it’s also ideal for upgrading existing installations without major modifications.

What Makes Kee Gate Different?

While there are other self-closing gates on the market, Kee Gate stands out thanks to its focus on long-term durability, ease of installation, and full compliance with safety standards.

Unlike some systems that require on-site welding or complicated adjustments, Kee Gate arrives ready to fit. It can be cut to size using basic tools and attached to most pipe or angle-iron structures using the included brackets, no specialist equipment or installers needed.

Every component has been tested for heavy-duty use, from the robust galvanised steel frame to the spring mechanism, which has been cycled over 50,000 times without failure. Its high-visibility yellow option also makes it easier for workers to spot access points in busy environments, adding another layer of passive safety.

Built for Compliance and Confidence

Kee Gate meets the latest safety regulations including:

  • BS EN ISO 14122-3:2016 for safe access to machinery
  • EN 13374 Class A for temporary edge protection

It has also undergone rigorous product testing. With resistance to a downward force of 225kg and salt spray testing for over 200 hours, it’s proven to perform in even the harshest industrial conditions. Whether exposed to rain, chemicals, or heavy foot traffic, Kee Gate is designed to last.
